The Meeting House Campus

The Worthington Meeting House Campus centers around the 1774 Worthington Meeting House, a historic center of community life in Berlin, Connecticut.

With the Berlin Historical Society’s adjacent 1771 House, the meeting house’s former cupola, and surrounding green space, the campus brings together several significant historic elements in one location. Together, these elements form a historic site that offers a place for learning and gathering.

The Former Cupola

A beloved feature of the site is the former cupola, restored as a visual focal point on the lawn.

Once a prominent element of the meeting house, the cupola has been relocated and fully restored as part of efforts to share the site’s architectural history with visitors.

1771 House

Directly adjacent is the Berlin Historical Society's 1771 House, a historic residence with early architectural features that ties the campus to everyday life in the colonial era.

Once owned by the Woodruff family for over a century, the house now supports historical research, and programming.
