The Project
The Worthington Meeting building has been a part of our community since 1774 and has meant different things to succeeding generations. Now, it is our generation’s time to honor its past while adapting it for a new use.
Once completed, there will be nothing in Central Connecticut quite like this attraction. Featuring the historic home and park-like grounds behind the building, the complex will benefit all ages with diverse programming, and foster economic growth. The original footprint will remain, and the interior design will evoke its early meeting house days. Our plan is endorsed by the State Historic Preservation Office and the National Park Service.
Our future
The Worthington Meeting House, rendered post-restoration.
Welcome to our vision of the Meeting House as it will stand after restoration.
