$200k Secured for Exterior Restoration
1/6/26, 5:00 PM
The Berlin Town Council voted to use surplus funds to paint the Meeting House and complete other exterior repairs.

We are thrilled to share that on January 6, the Town Council voted to approve a list of non-budget expenditures, including $200,000 for the Worthington Meeting House painting and exterior repairs. The proposal received unanimous approval from the public.
We anticipate that the town will begin the bidding process soon, and we hope the building will be looking its best for the America 250 celebrations later this year.
Thank you to everyone who participated; your support made a real difference! We were especially heartened to see many supporters from the Berlin Land Trust, who also secured significant funding toward their purchase of the N.A. Moore house. These successful efforts demonstrates the town's strong commitment to historic preservation at the Meeting House and across Berlin.
